Step 1: Contact Us

Please email or call Onward New River Valley, FTZ #238 Coordinator, at info@onwardnrv.org or 540-267-0007.

Step 2: Apply FTZ #238

1. FTZ#238 and applicant conduct conference call to discuss project
2. Applicant downloads and completes the Minor Boundary Modification application
3. Applicant submits application and application fee to FTZ #238.
4. FTZ #238 obtains concurrence from CBP-Richmond.
5. FTZ #238 submits all documents to FTZ Board.

Step 3: Receive approval from FTZ Board

1. Application is reviewed by FTZ Board.
2. Applicant reviews and signs Operator Agreement with FTZ #238.

Step 4: Activate with U.S. Customs & Border Protection

1. FTZ #238 will notify applicant when FTZ Board has approved the site.
2. CBP and approved user can now begin activation – View Manual.
